Now if you’ve given the system a proper trial then this is completely understandable … if something doesn’t work how it should then you are within your rights to ask for a refund. But one thing I hear time and time again from both users and publishers is that people are often refunding the robots after only 2 or 3 days, and in the majority of cases after less than a fortnight. In most cases this illustrates a simple lack of understanding.
To properly gauge the effectiveness of a Forex Robot, you should trial it for at least a month. And by trial, we do mean using it in “demo” mode. But why use it for at least a month you ask?
- Firstly, most Forex Robots give you a 60 day refund period – there is no need to rush the return of the product.
- Secondly, you will never gauge an accurate assessment of how a product works if you don’t test it properly. The fact is, Forex Robots make both winning and losing trades. What matters is the overall win/loss ratio over time.
- e.g. say you try a product for only two days, and in that two days it makes a loss … the product might actually have a 70% win ratio and make successful trades on the next 5 days, but you’ll never know this if you quit too soon.
- Thirdly … well, it follows on from the other two really – by quitting so soon you’re probably shooting yourself on the foot and missing out on what could be great potential profits.
So then, now that we know why you should trial a system for longer what are the MUST-DOs for trialling a Forex Robot?
- DO only trial one forex robot at a time. Using more than one means you won’t know which forex robot is making the trade, therefore you won’t know which forex robot is making you money and which one isn’t.
- DO let the forex robot run 24/5 … only running the forex robot for a couple of hours a day will not give it a chance to trade properly. If you have problems leaving your computer on 24/5, consider using Forex Hoster.
- DON’T use real money until you have confidence in the system.
- DO choose a product that matches your risk profile – some focus on safer but slower profit trading, while others focus on riskier but higher profit trading.
Remember, in most cases you have 60 days to trial the product … there is no rush!
